This season picks up right where the last one left off...fleeing the Centers for Disease Control after it blows sky-high. Expect more interpersonal drama among the returning characters (that whole love triangle thing is alive and well) but also expect some interesting interactions when a new family is introduced. And, of course, lots and lots of zombies.
Only time will tell what Frank Darabont's departure will mean for the show. This was his baby, so hopefully those who have taken up the reins will keep his vision in mind. If I'm honest, I would love it if season two ramped up the action a bit. I very nearly gave up on the series last year because the pace was that of an elderly sloth. So fingers crossed...
